Alan Croll, CEO and Chairman
Mr. Croll, e•know’s CEO since 2002, has more than 30 years of experience growing businesses and leading organizations to sustainable profitable growth. In more than 21 years at Digital Equipment Corporation he played a key role in transforming a free, pre- and post-sales software support function into a highly profitable professional services business that reached more the $2B in global revenues. While at Digital, he pioneered the launch of several profitable lines of business including the Application Services Business which packaged highly repeatable service offerings into fixed price products. As VP of Digital’s $155M Federal Enterprise Integration Services business, he grew profits more than 20% annually. In his role as VP of Digital Services for the Mid-Atlantic Region, Mr. Croll led a 1,300-person organization with more than $450M in annual revenues. After Digital, Mr. Croll led the growth of several smaller companies as VP of Professional Services at SAGA Software, as President of CSSi, a subsidiary of Nichols Research Corporation, and as COO of eMotion, Inc., a software company specializing in digital media asset management. Mr. Croll earned his BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University and his MS in Computer and Information Science from the Moore School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also completed executive programs at Columbia University Graduate School of Business and a Harvard-based program sponsored by Digital Equipment Corporation.

Manuel Sanches, President and Founder
Mr. Sanches’ 20-year career includes 15 years of executive, management, and consulting experience in operations, communications, and process improvement in the U.S. and Europe. Mr. Sanches developed the theory behind the Integrator approach, designed the Integrator platform, and manages its ongoing development. He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of California, San Diego, where he studied cognitive psychology, artificial intelligence, and computer science, and received the Honor of Highest Distinction from the University.

Lawrence Dell, Executive VP, Co-founder
Mr. Dell is focused on building, strengthening, and growing key e•know functional areas, including business and partner development; financing; executive search for the company, board and advisory board; and operations. Prior to co-founding e•know, Mr. Dell held numerous external-facing positions with blue-chip companies such as, Procter & Gamble (P&G) and Dow Jones (DJ). During Mr. Dell’s 15 years at DJ, he held senior management positions in several regional hubs, including Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the US. He drove double-digit revenue growth, developed partnerships, and built and managed successful teams. He has also had wide exposure to the European market. Mr. Dell was then recruited to join an international trading firm where he co-developed and managed the largest transaction in the firm’s history. Mr. Dell is a graduate of Northwestern University.

Laurence Kirsh, VP, Marketing & Service Delivery
Mr. Kirsh joined e•know in 2006. His 25 year career includes software product design, product management, and product marketing of consumer software, interactive TV, and Web services. He has been a key player at several technology startups, including Trace, TV Answer, Bell Atlantic Video Services, and NetChannel, which was acquired by AOL in 1998. At AOL, Mr. Kirsh oversaw the software user interface design of AOLTV; then managed the design, development, and marketing of multiple revisions of the Macintosh version of the AOL client software, a $140 million piece of AOL’s subscription business. Mr. Kirsh is a graduate of the University of Virginia (with Distinction), and holds an Executive MBA from The George Washington University.

Charles S. Marantz, Corporate Director
Mr. Marantz is a seasoned executive with 30 years of senior management experience at a variety of technology and telecommunications companies. Mr. Marantz has served as the Chief Financial Officer of Yurie Systems, Hayes Corp., Integrated Telecom Technology, and the Palaver Systems Division of Litel Communications. He has a wealth of experience in merger and acquisition assessments and implementations, including his role as the Director of Mergers and Acquisitions for Global One, a joint venture among Sprint Corp., France Telecom, and Deutsche Telekom. Mr. Marantz’s active guidance ensures that e•know can capably address the needs of its Fortune 1000 senior executive clients. Mr. Marantz is a graduate of MIT, and holds a Masters from Stanford University School of Engineering, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
